Welcome to Walker Creative, an independent design practice based in Brooklyn, NY.
I’m Paige Walker, that’s me over there to your left (or above if you’re on a mobile device.) I’m the designer, strategist and executor of all projects that flow through Walker Creative.
The slightly longer story: I studied Fashion Design at FIT NYC, where I learned a majority of my technical skills using crossover programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I spent a year working in the fashion industry post-grad while picking up freelance jobs on the side. I was designing, painting and creating technical sketches for other start ups on a custom basis until it took over full time.
In 2021, I co-launched a photography marketplace platform. Through that experience I taught myself UI/UX design by diving deep into research and hands-on experimentation. The leap into digital product design expanded my perspective and ultimately pushed me to pursue a broader scope of creative work by helping brands bring their ideas to life through thoughtful design and strategy.
